The days of festivities started with a youth group girls only sleepover at the youth house (woo hoo for staying up til 3!). The next day was lunch with my high school girlies (and an announcement of twins from one of them!) and then at night was a super-fun Law concert. The whole Lamers family came to celebrate and it was a hoot. Lots of dancing and fun was had by all.
Christmas eve was at the Ploeg's, Christmas day was church and home (plus Uncle Brian, A Christmas Story, and Elf), and the 26th was at the VLugt's. It was a very busy couple days and I have to say, the boys did pretty well. It wasn't all sunshine and giggles and I don't think they really get it yet, but it was fun.
We also attempted a New Year's celebration with a whole bunch of other kiddies ... it went fine, but we were home by 11. Ahh... such is life with 1 year olds, I guess.
